It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear friend Richie Powers. As some of you may know Verne rode in honor of Richie when he was first diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Richie was also Captain of the Bentley Golf team and had a true passion for the game of golf. Richie was even the winner of this years tournament. We ask that you keep Richie's family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers this weekend. Thank you for all of your support throughout the years and hopefully soon we will find a cure for this terrible disease.
