The opening of Judo at Pelrithang Higher Secondary School was truly a wonderful beginning filled with excitement, unity, and encouragement from everyone. The event became even more special because of the continuous support shown by the school community, teachers, students, and well-wishers who helped make this new journey successful. It marked not only the start of a sport but also the beginning of discipline, strength, teamwork, and confidence among students.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the
Judo Association of Bhutan for their generous support in providing the judo mats and judo dresses. Their kindness and contribution have created a great opportunity for students to learn and grow in the field of judo. We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported and encouraged this initiative. With such strong support and positivity, this opening will surely become the foundation of many future achievements.

This is a great step forward in promoting Judo, discipline, fitness, and positive youth development among students. The club will provide young learners with opportunities to build confidence, respect, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles through regular training and activities.

A wonderful day of learning, teamwork, and friendship through Judo!

Gelephu Judo Club, LGA Judo Club, and Pelrithang Higher Secondary School Judo Club successfully conducted a joint regular training session at Gelephu Judo Club.

The session brought together young judokas from different clubs to train, learn, and grow together in the true spirit of Judo — discipline, respect, friendship, and mutual welfare. Through technical drills, randori, fitness activities, and teamwork exercises, the athletes gained valuable experience and motivation from one another.

Such collaborative training sessions help strengthen the Judo community in Gelephu and inspire our young judokas to continue developing both on and off the mat.
