There’s big news for domestic football in Bhutan this season! A significant number of star players from Nepal’s women’s national team—the *Gorkhali Chelis*—are officially signing with clubs across the **Bank of Bhutan Women’s National League**.

*FIFA’s ANFA Suspension: On June 24, FIFA indefinitely suspended the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) due to government and third-party political interference.
*Domestic Paralysis in Nepal:** The suspension immediately froze domestic competitions in Nepal and barred Nepali clubs and national teams from international football (including FIFA and AFC events).
*Keeping Careers Active:To stay match-fit, earn a living, and continue playing competitive football during the suspension, Nepal’s top talent had to look abroad—making Bhutan’s growing national league an attractive destination.

2. HowY it impact Bhutanese Football?
*Stronger Rosters & Tougher Competition: The arrival of international-caliber talent elevates the technical standard of local club rosters, setting up what promises to be our most competitive season yet.

Tier III is officially in the books, and Tier I is set to be absolute cinema! The top 6 teams have secured their spot to fight for the championship, but the gap at the top is real!

The Heavyweights
🔵 Thimphu City Women FC: Absolutely unstoppable! A perfect 9 wins from 9 matches, accumulating 27 points, 76 goals scored, and a mind-blowing +67 goal difference. Closing out Tier III with a 19–0 statement victory over Ugyen Academy, they look like undisputed title favorites.
🔴 RTC Women FC: Sitting 2nd with 22 points (7W-1D-1L) and boasting the meanest defense in the league—conceding just 4 goals all tournament!
🟢 Transport United Ladies: Locked in 3rd place with 20 points after capping off Tier III with a dominant 6–0 win.

We don't need small adjustments anymore. We are tired of the same old excuses! We need a total, aggressive revolution from top to bottom: The Management: Clean out the federation offices entirely. The Coaches: Get rid of the outdated tactics that ruin our games. The Players: Stop picking the same names and start choosing hungry talent. We deserve better than this embarrassment!
