🏀 Big Moves for Youth Basketball! 🏀

We are thrilled to officially launch the Ball 'In Schools pilot program in partnership with 4 schools!

A massive shoutout to Madam Khandu Wangmo for leading the very first lesson of the Ball 'In Schools initiative at Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School for taking the lead to integrate the Ball 'In Schools curriculum directly into their Physical Education (PE) programs.

Supported by FIBA Regional Office – Asia, this initiative equips PE teachers with tailored tools, age-appropriate drills, and fundamental basketball training to make the sport accessible, fun, and sustainable for our youth.

Last weekend, eight schools from Paro including the Wangsel Institute for the Hearing Impaired Students competed in the C-Region 3x3 High School Tournament. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Paro Dzongkhag team for their dedication in organizing this successful tournament.

Both the boys' and girls' teams from Chundu Armed Forces Public School (CAFPS) have captured the championship title in the first C-Region 3x3 High School Championship, Haa!

A huge congratulations to the talented boys and girls of Gongzim Ugyen Dorji Central School (GUDCS) for their impressive run as runners-up.

We wish CAFPS the best of luck as they move on to represent Haa in the national finals!

Our heartfelt gratitude to the India in Bhutan (Embassy of India, Thimphu) India-Bhutan Foundation, Thimphu Secretariat for funding and supporting such an impactful tournament for our youth. 🏀🏆

While you were enjoying your weekend, BFB was hard at work in Paro hosting the first preparation crash course for referees and coaches heading into the C-Region 3x3 High School Championship.

We'll be bringing these training sessions to more dzongkhags over the coming weekends. Stay tuned for updates!
