It is with sadness to announce the death of former Francistown Regional Football Association add member Mr.Ephraim Maiketso. Mr. Maiketso served between 2006 & 2010. We wish to give the family a chance to mourn their beloved one and we’ll share all the details regarding the funeral arrangements.

May His Soul Rest In Peace.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a standstill. Dreams were put on hold, communities faced uncertainty, and football grounds fell silent. Yet in the heart of Francistown, that difficult period became the foundation of a dream that refused to be postponed. From those challenging days, Francistown City Excellent Boys FC was born, a club determined to prove that even in the darkest moments, hope can still find a way to shine.

This team was founded by the President Edward Seabe and it's under the guidance of coaches Stoppa Takobana and Carlos Bareki, the club has quickly grown into one of FRAFA's most respected competitors. Known as "The Romans," Francistown City Excellent Boys has consistently challenged among the league's top teams while earning admiration for its fearless, entertaining kasi style of football. Ever since their first competition, Francistown City Excellent Boys have always excelled, from Promotion to Division 1 and always completing the season among the Top 5 League contenders.

FCEB host home matches at Block 4 Kutlwano Grounds and the club proudly wears yellow, navy blue, and maroon which are colours that reflect its energy, resilience, unity, and pride. Guided by the values of Faith, Passion and Excellence, the club believes success is measured not only by results on the field but also by the positive impact it leaves within the community.

The club harbours ambitions of developing young talent and using football to steer young people away from the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. Francistown City Excellent Boys FC is building more than a football club, it is building hope, opportunity, and a legacy for future generations.

The railway village of Tati Siding has seen the emergence of Redbulls FC, a community football club proudly carrying the banner "The Pride of Tati Siding." and driven by a passion for developing local talent. The club has established itself as an important platform for aspiring footballers while strengthening the bond between football and the community it represents.

Redbulls goes to war in their iconic red and white colours,and hosts its home matches at Redbulls Ground and Tashata Ground, where supporters gather to cheer on their hometown team. The club is guided by a committed technical team comprising Dave Letsholathebe, Golebamang Ngwako, Orebotse Wilson, Modisa Sebitiela, and Thatayaone Ramogale, whose dedication continues to shape the next generation of players.

Redbulls FC's commitment to sustainable football development is reflected in its structured pathway, with Under-15, Under-17, and Senior Teams providing young footballers with the opportunity to grow through the ranks while embracing the values of discipline, teamwork, and excellence.

⚽ FRAFA CLUB PROFILE | MAKALENG UNITED SPORTING CLUB

"MakaU a Thari!"

Since its establishment in 2018, Makaleng United Sporting Club has become a symbol of hope and opportunity in Makaleng. Founded by Obonetse Shaw Ramokate, the club was created to identify and develop young football talent while using sport as a tool to combat drug and alcohol abuse and raise awareness on HIV and AIDS.

The club's steady rise speaks volumes about its ambition. After finishing 4th in the 2022/23 FRAFA Division II, Makaleng United followed with back-to-back 2nd-place finishes before earning a well-deserved promotion to FRAFA Division I for the 2025/26 season.

The home matches are played at Pelaelo Grounds and Makaleng Primary Grounds using the Maroon and White outfit. This is a further commitment to serving its community through food hamper donations to vulnerable families and supporting members during times of bereavement.

This establishment is more than just a football club as Makaleng United continue to build a legacy of unity, discipline and community service as living proof that football can inspire positive change both on and off the pitch.

Let us rally behind Makaleng United Sporting Club, on their remarkable journey. The future looks very bright.

FRAFA CLUB PROFILE: MAKUNGULUPESWA FC LAMELA MANGWE ⚽️

Makungulupeswa FC Lamela Mangwe was established in the 2018/19 Season and represents the villages of Sebina and Nshakazhogwe with a vision of developing rural football talent while creating opportunities for young people through the beautiful game.

The team existence is guided by the Ikalanga proverb, "Wa Sudza Mankonko, nde wali bulaya wali Metha makuse lo muka la Mela Mangwe," meaning "Whatever doesn't kill you can only make you stronger," 💪 the club has built a reputation for resilience and ambition both on and off the pitch.

In just a few years, the club has celebrated significant milestones, finishing as 2019/20 FRAFA Division 2 Runners-up, winning the 2022/23 FRAFA Division 1 Championship, and earning promotion to the Botswana First Division North after winning the National Promotional Play-Offs. Following a status swap with Tonota FC, Makungulupeswa returned to FRAFA Division 1 for the 2025/26 season, finishing a respectable 4th.

It is under the leadership of Founding President Mothusi Jowawa, Head Coaches Keleapere Tlhabologang assisted by Jimson Raid, and Captain Olekantse Mambo, assisted by Tshegofatso Machengedza, the club continues to balance competitive football with community service, rewarding top-performing students across local schools and inspiring excellence both in the classroom and on the pitch. 📚⚽

Makungulupeswa FC Lamela Mangwe plays it's home matches at both Shangano Junior Secondary School and Nshakazhogwe Primary School Grounds, and proudly wears Royal Blue, Gold, White and Grey which are colours that reflect the club's pride, unity and ambition. The people of Sebina Nshakazhogwe and surrounding villages, here is a team that represents all that if football related. Your support is very important.

From the quiet village of Borolong, just outside Francistown, a remarkable football story continues to unfold. Founded in 2022, Bradas Rilly Stars, affectionately known as Ama Bradas, has rapidly established itself as one of FRAFA's most exciting clubs, proving that ambition, hard work and community support can produce extraordinary results.

Built on a vision of developing talented young footballers from rural Botswana while pursuing a place among the country's elite clubs, Ama Bradas has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the regional ranks. In just four seasons, the club progressed from FRAFA Division Two to becoming 2025/26 FRAFA Division One Champions, while also qualifying for the prestigious Orange FA Cup.

The club's impressive journey includes finishing as Division Two runners-up in its inaugural season before winning back-to-back league titles to secure promotion. Rather than settling after promotion, Ama Bradas continued its winning mentality by lifting the Division One championship in its very first campaign at that level.

Playing its home matches at Borolong Primary Ground, Bradas Rilly Stars proudly wears green, complemented by black and white, colours that have become synonymous with determination and growth.
