Kweneng Regional Football Association continues to invest in the development of football officials through the Referee's Beginner Course, aimed at equipping aspiring referees with the necessary knowledge and skills to officiate the beautiful game.

The participants are being guided by experienced instructors Mr Tlhowe and Mr Tshule, who are taking them through the Laws of the Game, ensuring that they understand the principles, interpretations, and responsibilities of a referee on the field of play.

The course forms part of KRFA’s commitment towards developing competent match officials who will contribute to the growth, fairness, and professionalism of football within the region.

We wish all participants the best as they embark on this important journey of becoming future football referees. 👏⚽

The Chairman of Kweneng Regional Football Association (KRFA), Rre Mokgachane, was spotted taking part in the Jwaneng Desert Bush Walk yesterday, an event that continues to grow beyond a hiking experience into a significant sports tourism and community development initiative.

The event showcases Botswana’s beautiful landscapes while promoting wellness, adventure, local businesses and economic opportunities within host communities.

KRFA continues to recognise the importance of sports in bringing communities together, promoting active lifestyles and contributing to broader social and economic development.

Through partnerships like these, KRFA continues to support initiatives that provide young footballers with platforms to grow, compete, and develop both on and off the field.

📢 KRFA NOTICE TO ALL AFFILIATED CLUBS
The Kweneng Regional Football Association (KRFA) has extended the deadline for all affiliates to submit proof of compliance with the Registrar of Societies and/or Companies and Intellectual Property Authority (C**A).

The new submission deadline is Friday, 07 August 2026.

All clubs are reminded to submit the required compliance documents, including: ✅ Valid registration certificates (Registrar of Societies/C**A)
✅ Proof of submission of annual returns
✅ Current compliance certificates or confirmation letters where applicable
✅ Any other documents proving that the club remains in good standing

Clubs are encouraged to make use of this extension, as no further extensions may be granted. Failure to comply may affect a club’s standing within KRFA and eligibility to participate in official KRFA and Botswana Football Association programmes and competitions.

Documents can be submitted electronically via [email protected] or delivered as hard copies to any member of the KRFA Executive Committee.

KRFA remains committed to promoting good governance, accountability, and sustainable football development within the region.

SUBMISSION OF PROOF OF COMPLIANCE

The Kweneng Regional Football Association (KRFA) hereby reminds all affiliated clubs to submit proof of compliance with the Registrar of Societies and C**A on or before 17 July 2026.

Clubs are requested to submit their compliance documents through either of the following channels:
