TEAM ACTIVE HUB – COMRADES MARATHON 2026

The Comrades Marathon continues to define what it means to test human limits, resilience, and spirit.

For Team Active Hub, the 2026 Up Run delivered stories of breakthrough, redemption, and courage. From first-time finishers experiencing Comrades for the first time... To athletes returning stronger after setbacks... To personal best performances built through discipline and sacrifice... And to those who pushed through one of the toughest days of their journey...

Every result reflects months of preparation, commitment, and heart.

Beyond our own team members, we would also like to congratulate the many runners from different clubs who joined us throughout the Comrades season for strength and conditioning sessions. It was a privilege to share part of your preparation journey, and we are delighted to have witnessed your outstanding performances on race day.

While every athlete represents their own club, coach, and support structure, we are grateful that Active Hub could play a small role in helping runners pursue their Comrades goals. Your success is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and sacrifices made by you and those who support you.

To all who ran, finished, achieved personal bests, conquered their first Comrades, or simply gave everything they had on the road from Durban to Pietermaritzburg, congratulations.
Together, you have reminded us that the true spirit of Comrades lies not only in the medals earned or times achieved, but in the courage to keep moving forward when the road gets tough.

Well done to every runner. Your journey continues to inspire us all.

COMRADES TRAVEL WEEK IS HERE!

As our team begins the journey from Gaborone to Durban, we wish each and every runner and support team member safe travels and God's protection throughout the trip.

Months of hard work, sacrifice, early mornings, long runs, and unwavering commitment have brought you to this moment. Now, as you travel to the start line of the world's greatest ultramarathon (The Ultimate Human Race), take pride in how far you have come.

May your journey be filled with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories. Travel safely, arrive refreshed, and carry with you the spirit that has guided you through every training session.

Remember this year's message: "Ska Fela Moya!" When the road gets tough, when the legs grow weary, and when the finish line seems far away, don't give up. Trust your training, trust your purpose, and trust the strength within you.

Wishing you all travel mercies, strong legs, positive minds, and a successful race day.

Ska Fela Moya! Durban, here we come!

Our Diacore Gaborone Marathon 2026 story.

We wish we could’ve ran with tyres…
But we ran with heart.
We wanted to jump those burpees…
But we jumped the finish line.

And most importantly,
we left no one behind.

Because at Active Hub, it’s never just about the distance.
It’s about the mindset.
It’s about the man next to you.
It’s about the woman pushing through pain.
It’s about the team that refuses to quit.

When one slows down, we close ranks.
When one doubts, we speak life.
When one struggles, we carry the belief.

We don’t chase medals.
We chase growth.
We chase grit.
We chase greatness.

We show up together.
And together, we don’t just finish.
We FINISH STRONG.

That’s the Active Hub standard.
No shortcuts. No excuses. No one left behind.

WELL DONE TO ALL OF YOU LIME NATION.

Motho wa Mme...
Today, we celebrate our only representative taking on the legendary Two Oceans Marathon in beautiful Cape Town.

We showed up, and we showed out at the Omdie Marathon. The result? Strength, grit, and finishers. 15 crossed the line, and all 16 showed heart, proving that this team is built on resilience and commitment. Along the way, we celebrated countless personal bests and powerful breakthroughs that reflect the work done in training. It wasn’t easy. One pushed through to finish despite missing the cutoff (To Us - You Are A Finisher.), and another gave everything on the day. That’s the reality of the sport. But what stands out is the fight, the courage, and the unity of this team. This wasn’t just about finishing, it was about rising, and pushing limits. We don’t back down. We rise. That’s the Active Hub Standard.
