⚔️ Despite competing against countries with delegations of over 40 athletes, Botswana fought aggressively and emerged among the top-performing nations at the championships 🇧🇼🔥

Botswana Wins Double Gold

Botswana made a flying start at the Region 5 Karate Championships in Luanda after winning two gold medals on the opening day. Centy Kgosikoma claimed gold in Senior Female Kata, while Kutlo Thomas secured gold in Senior Male Kata. Lethabo Sekano also earned a bronze medal in Senior Female Kata.

Coach Sensei Peter Molefhe expressed confidence that Botswana can still achieve its target of five gold medals before the end of the tournament as the kumite battles begin on Saturday.
