The intensity of the competition was exceptionally high, the attendance was massive, and the atmosphere was nothing short of electrifying. From the first whistle to the final moment, the tournament demanded commitment, discipline, courage, and an unwavering belief in ourselves.

This was not just a simple victory. It was a hard-fought triumph earned through determination, teamwork, resilience, and sacrifice. We went up against strong, well-organised, and highly competitive opponents, and every match tested our character and our ability to perform under pressure.

To the entire team — THANK YOU FOR SHOWING UP AND SHOWING OUT! You gave everything on the field, fought for one another, stayed disciplined, and represented Kopong United FC with pride and determination.

This achievement belongs to every player, coach, official, supporter, and member of the Kopong United family who contributed to this journey. Your commitment, belief, and support made this possible.

WE FOUGHT. WE BELIEVED. WE DELIVERED.

🏆 KOPONG UNITED FC — CHAMPIONS!

Hello, football lovers.

Yesterday was an epic day of football, but unfortunately, we once again allowed our emotions to get the better of us.

WE HAVE COLLECTIVELY WORKED HARD TO RESTORE THE TRADITIONAL TEAMS’ FOOTBALL CULTURE AND COMPETITIVE SPIRIT. PLEASE, LET US NOT BE THE ONES TO DESTROY WHAT WE HAVE WORKED SO HARD TO BUILD.

It has taken a great deal of effort, commitment and sacrifice to get to where we are today. Football is a form of entertainment, and while rivalry and competition are an important part of the game, we must never allow rivalry to turn into hatred.

Some of us have invested heavily in this project because we genuinely love our village and want to see football and our community continue to grow.

We do not condone violence.

We strongly condemn any form of violence against match officials, players, supporters or security personnel. I believe the Tournament Organising Committee will take decisive action against anyone who participates in any form of violence. I also believe that team management will take appropriate action against their members who are involved in violent conduct.

Let me remind everyone that invading the pitch because you disagree with a referee’s decision is unacceptable anywhere in the world. We may disagree with decisions, but there are proper channels through which grievances and complaints should be addressed.

Please also remember that security personnel are responsible for protecting the players, match officials and supporters. When security personnel are doing their job, please understand that it is not personal. Their responsibility is to maintain order and ensure the safety of everyone at the ground.

It is also important to clarify that the referee was appointed by the sponsor, not by any of the participating teams. The Tournament Organising Committee, which has representation from all four participating teams, was involved in the process of vetting and accepting the appointed match officials.

Furthermore, Kopong United Football Club is not the sponsor of this tournament and has not influenced any decisions made by the match officials. Kopong United simply provided the venue for the tournament.

Let us therefore not allow our emotions to get the better of us.

If you have any grievances or concerns regarding the tournament, please direct them to the Tournament Organising Committee and the sponsor through the appropriate channels.

Let us protect what we have worked so hard to build.

Let the rivalry remain on the pitch. Let the respect remain beyond it.

FOOTBALL UNITES. COMMUNITY BUILDS. KOPONG GROWS.

It’s a do or die today. We don’t have any other options but to get the job done.

It was epic yesterday. Are kopaneng gape today gone ko Kopong United Arena.
Let’s refrain from invading the pitch, let’s allow the referee, the captains and the tournament committee to deliberate on any match related matters without fans invading the pitch.
Any team that allows its supporters to invade the pitch will be charged according to the rules.
