Important Notice

Penda Sports Group Members conducted an internal investigation of what transpired on the night of tournament awards, particularly on the matter that led to the late handing over of cash prizes to the winning teams.

The preliminary outcome of the investigation shows that the treasurer was carrying an emergency assignment at work at the same time as the awards ceremony and could not perform optimally his duties of Penda Sports Group.

The group believes that this disturbing scenario should not happen in the future, and a decision to relinquish the treasurer from his position has been taken with immediate effect. Penda Sports Group sincerely apologises on behalf of our treasurer and takes full responsibility for such.

The evaluation, which will be held on the last weekend of July 2023, will inform the group of further administrative improvements and additions to be done.
