𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗕𝗢𝗧𝗦𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗔 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞 𝗠𝗘𝗡’𝗦 𝟰×𝟭𝟬𝟬𝗠 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝟰×𝟰𝟬𝟬𝗠 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗦

Team Botswana has secured qualification for both the men’s 4×400 metres and 4×100 metres relays during Day One of the Debswana World Athletics Relays, which took place at the National Stadium in Gaborone today.

The 4×400m quartet of Collen Kebinatshipi, Lee Eppie, Justice Oratile and Uyapo Ndori clocked a time of 2:57.52.

In the 4×100m, the team of Letsile Tebogo, Godiramang Kevin Lobatlamang, Selepe Phaezel and Jayson Mandoze posted 37.96 to book their place in tomorrow’s finals and secure qualification for next year’s World Athletics Relays in China.

Team Botswana also took part in the heats of the mixed 4×100m and mixed 4×400m relays, placing eighth in both events. In the women’s 4×400m relay event, they finished in 5th place.
