๐ง๐ฟโก NYASHA HARRIS HAS ARRIVED AT LINCOLN UNIVERSITY! ๐ฏ
Belizean sprint standout Nyasha Harris is already on campus and into her first semester at Lincoln University in Missouri, beginning an exciting new chapter in a program with a strong NCAA Division II track and field tradition.
Nyasha heads into this next stage with a 100m personal best of 11.86 seconds, multiple regional podium finishes for Belize, and continued support through the Belize Olympic Solidarity Programme. She has already shown that she belongs among the countryโs top sprint talents. Now the challenge is to keep climbing.
That is what makes Lincoln such an exciting fit.
The womenโs track and field program brings a championship pedigree, including seven NCAA Division II outdoor national titles, while Head Track & Field/Cross Country Coach Victor Thomas has built a long-standing program with particular strength in the sprints, hurdles and relays. Add in a diverse roster with athletes from across the Caribbean and beyond, and Nyasha now finds herself in an environment where fast athletes train beside fast athletes every day.
And we love that.
At BK Sports, we want to see more of our girls placed in spaces that challenge them, stretch them and demand more from them. Talent can open the door, but the right environment can change the ceiling.
Lincoln also brings the academic side into focus, with both its menโs and womenโs track teams earning USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honours in 2026. For Nyasha, this is not just about dropping times. It is about growing as a student-athlete, competing at a higher level, and continuing to build toward even bigger opportunities for Belize.
11.86 got our attention. Now we want to see what happens when that talent is pushed every single day. ๐โก
Congratulations, Nyasha. Keep learning, keep working, keep getting faster, and keep carrying the ๐ง๐ฟ with pride.
