We parked the Camaro in victory lane for the first time on July 31st at Taylor Speedway after an incredible battle with a couple of incredible drivers. I'm so unbelievably proud of how far we've come with this car to have the opportunity to compete at this level, and I couldn't do it without a lot of help from a lot of people.

Thank you to my family. My old man for all the fab work putting the car together, running my engine program, and all the late nights thrashing on the car to get it to shows. Chelsea, and my crew chiefs Booker and Ainsley for all their support from home and at the track. Nathan for every time he's been working on his car and stopped to lend a hand with mine. All of that means the world to me.

I want to thank Jason Hankewich for helping me get up into the streetstock division, and after I made this car way too heavy, helping me find speed in it. I also want to thank the other drivers we regularly run with, guys like Laurie, Murray, Wayne, Dave, ect. I've learned so much chasing these guys around, always with a huge amount of trust and respect. It's a ton of fun.

I want to thank the Taylor Speedway crew for putting together an awesome track for us to run on. My luck didn't last through the entire weekend, but my smile sure did. I'll definitely be back.

Thank you to my brand partners!

VS Truckworks! They were the first decal on my first car, and have been onboard every time we've finished P1. Thank you for your support!

Bill's Trucking Co Ltd! That B looks good on the car, looks great on their team of trucks. Give them a call!

True North Pin Up Magazine & Bombshell Supply Co ! Thank you for your support jumping on the car this year, if you're looking for retro vibes nobody does it better than they do!

Zero Camber for help figuring tire prep! Videos on that to come 👀

I also want to thank our PDRA touring series sponsors for their support, as I wouldn't have been able to run that far from home without their generous support. Thank you to Pinnacle Services High Level, our touring series presenting sponsor. Lurch's Winchin', our streetstock division sponsor, and Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority for their supporta

Still lots of room on the car if you'd like your logo on it too 😏.

See you next weekend at Rocky Mountain Racing Association!

We got it done and parked the streetstock in Victory lane here for day 1 at Taylor Speedway! Incredibly fun racing, can't wait for day 2!

Here is the day 1 podium finishers for our Lurch's Winchin' Streetstocks out at Taylor Speedway. These 3 cars travelled a combined 3644 km to race this weekend and they didn't give up a single inch on the track, with door to door racing from the green flag to the checkered flag. The Pushrod Punisher Joseph Chiliak took the top spot, with Laurie Robbie and Murray "Money" Koethler an incredibly tight second and third.

One of the best parts of running up at RAD Torque Raceway, Rusty Pothier caught the new look melon machine in action before I scattered the engine.

We had a tough weekend.

.... But we made it to the track. We knocked on the door of a podium in the friday feature, and were running second when the engine popped. We got to see a friend back in a car for the first time after a wild wreck last year go on to win a feature race (Congrats Kirk!). We got to long distance celebrate another friend down in Swift Current claiming his first feature race win (Congrats Brian!). We got help from our competitors, and got to help a few other cars keep the wheels turning. I put a rod into low orbit and didn't scratch my fancy paint at all. We debuted the True North Pin Up Magazine & Bombshell Supply Co dino, an instant fan favorite. We got to visit some old fans and make some new ones. I had an absolute blast driving with a great group of drivers. The engine may not be fixable, but I've heard rumours that Yamaha made more than one of them.

So what I'm saying is we had a good weekend!

Thank you to everyone who had a hand in keeping us rolling this weekend. We'll have the Melon car back together this summer for sure!
