🏒2026–2027 Roster Announced 🏒

The Novas are proud to announce our roster for the 2026–2027 NSU15MHL season.

Congratulations to the players selected to represent The Novas this year.

Earning a place on this roster is an accomplishment, but it is also the beginning of the work ahead. This group now has the opportunity to wear the N, represent their teammates, families, communities, and the Nova Hockey program, and help carry forward the standard that has been built by the players who came before them.

Every season brings a new team, a new identity, and a new journey. Now, the work begins.

New season. New group. Same standard. 🔵⚪

Congratulations to Fomer Captain Duncan Anderson!

The Novas would like to congratulate former captain Duncan Anderson on earning a spot in the line-up with the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL.

Duncan played with The Novas from 2022 to 2024 and served as team captain during the 2023–2024 season. A skilled, playmaking defenceman, Duncan still holds The Novas' regular season record for most points by a defenceman.

During his final season with The Novas, Duncan helped lead our team to a bronze medal at the Nova Scotia U15 Major Provincial Championship.

Since graduating from our program, Duncan has continued to work extremely hard toward his goal of playing QMJHL hockey. That commitment, patience, and determination have now paid off.

Congratulations, Duncan. Your Novas family is proud of you. 🏒

Scorekeeper / Clock Operator Needed

The Novas are looking for experienced scorekeeper/clock operator support for the upcoming Early Bird Tournament in Antigonish on September 19th and 20th.

We are looking for someone familiar with operating the game clock and GrayJay.

There will be 13 games over the weekend. This does not have to be covered by one person — the schedule can be split between multiple people if needed.
