Spring has sprung at Westview 🌷

The course is green, the trees are budding and the flowers are blooming - we’ve been waiting all winter for this! Here are a few Spring golf reminders to help you enjoy your first few rounds of the year:

❄️Frost Delays may still be a factor, as we wait for summer temperatures to arrive. On cooler mornings, check your email for notifications, or call the pro shop to confirm how your tee time may be affected.

⛳️Watch for wet / muddy areas on the course. Especially when driving a power cart, look for barriers and markers indicating soft ground and make sure to avoid those areas. (Trust us, taking a drop is better than taking a mud bath)

🌦️The forecast is ever-changing at this time of year! Check our website to review Westview’s inclement weather and rain check policy. Remember, rain checks will be available based on the number of holes you are able to get in (so you might as well give it a try!)

Course update: still snowy ❄️😭

It may not seem like it, but spring is around the corner! Stay tuned for updates as we gear up for the 2026 golf season. And in the meantime, please enjoy some photos of Westview staff making the most of a snowy off season at the course 🥾⛄️

This weekend’s snowfall marks the end of Westview’s 2025 golf season. Thank you to all of our golfers for another great year - we love seeing you out on the course and appreciate your continued support.

A few fall golf reminders:

🌅Sunset is earlier these days - make sure to account for daylight when booking your time and plan to be off the course before dark.

❄️Frost delays will soon become a factor as the temperature starts to drop - check your notifications or call the pro shop on cooler mornings to confirm how your tee time may be affected.

🍂Our maintenance team works hard to keep the course as tidy as possible, but fallen leaves are a reality all golfers must face! Please respect pace of play and take “re-leaf” if you aren’t able to find your ball within a reasonable amount of time.

⛳️Number 8 on the Homestead course is a short but tricky par 3 requiring a tee shot that will carry to the green. Keep in mind, this is a very difficult green to putt from above the hole. Do you have a favourite par 3 at Westview?

Today is day, recognizing the efforts of those who are essential to golf’s success. At Westview, we think our entire Maintenance Team is pretty “super” ❤️ Shout out to everyone who has worked on the many projects and improvements made to the course this year - we couldn’t do it without you!

🎉August is always a jam-packed month at Westview, with lots of in-house events to celebrate another great summer!

Thanks to all who came out to join us for evenings on the patio and under the tent at our Ladies and Men’s League Closing Events and our annual Staff Nine & Dine.

It’s had to believe we’re already approaching the end of summer, but don’t worry, there’s still plenty of golf left ahead of us 🏌️‍♂️
