⭐️ MEET RECAP ⭐️
This past weekend, Marisa, Benjamin, and Daphne had the honour of representing Ontario at the 2026 Eastern Canadian Championships in Fredericton. They each carried our team’s signature sportsmanship with them through training and competition, and capped the season off on an incredibly high note! To make things even sweeter, all three of them set KSG records with their performances at Easterns. Swipe through to check them out, and the routines that sealed the deal ➡️
Marisa captured team gold with Ontario in L9 15+, with 6th on vault, beam, and all around. She also earned 7th on bars and floor, hitting 4/4 routines!
Daphne closes out her season in 11th in eastern Canada in P3, and a team silver for Ontario! To earn the team medal, she had to finish the qualifier season in the top 4 across all ages for her level. This silver is a testament to the saying “the hardest part is getting there”, and she did it in incredible fashion.
Benjamin wowed the crowd with his most powerful tumbling of the year, 6th in eastern Canada and landing his two hardest passes in his first ever finals appearance. Even on the training day, the arena went quiet to watch his tumbling!
It was quite the long weekend for Team Ontario, and KSG is beyond proud of its representatives on and off the competition floor. We hope you look back on Easterns 2026 as a highlight of your time in the sport, and your time with KSG!

🌟 MEET RECAP 🌟
Last week, Daphne and Coach Peri were in Quebec to compete at TG Tour for Team Ontario! Our province’s delegation had 15 athletes, all competing in P3 spread across trampoline, double mini, and tumbling. Daphne put up a personal best of 85.810 on trampoline to finish 13th in an immensely strong field, and competed for the first time in synchronized trampoline finishing sixth with her partner Griffin.
Competition aside, the team had a packed trip! Team Ontario visited the Cirque du Soleil headquarters in Montreal, trained and chatted with olympic medalist Sophiane Methot, and spent a day in Montreal’s old port.
Daphne, your KSG community is incredibly proud of you! You’ve made history for our club as the first trampolinist to go on tour, and have done it with grace and love for your sport. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for you this spring! ⭕️🫰🏼🐻❄️
