The Stage - The Body - all look great in that moment
However, to get to there you have to let go of that body - in the right way ofcourse - to rebuild and put together something new - something different - something better
Every stage in life presents us with the opportunity to acknowledge the present - to validate what is - to review where we are and where we would like to go to - to learn and to grow

🎯 Fitness Tip For The Week
A client of mine asked me this last week:
Why is it that when I do Cardio, I feel totally drained 🥱 and need to take a nap 😴 VERSUS after weight training, I feel so energized and awake? 🫤
🏋️♂️ Lifting weights = nervous system hype
When you lift, especially heavy or explosively, you’re primarily taxing your central nervous system (CNS) and muscular system in short bursts. That triggers:
• Adrenaline release
• Increased dopamine
• A kind of “wired” or stimulated feeling
It’s like your body thinks you just fought a bear and won 😂 so it pumps you full of energy. You’re using anaerobic energy systems (without oxygen), which don’t drain your endurance tank as much in the moment.
🏃♂️ Cardio = slow drain on fuel
Cardio, especially longer sessions, uses:
• Aerobic energy systems
• More oxygen + glycogen (carb stores)
• And often burns through your glucose if it’s intense or long enough
This leaves you:
• Depleted
• Sometimes hypoglycemic (low blood sugar)
• And with increased serotonin, which can make you feel sleepy and relaxed
So yeah, if you feel the same way, you’re not crazy. You’re just feeling the:
• Stimulated vs. depleted ends of the training spectrum.
🔄 Quick analogy:
• Lifting = shot of espresso
• Cardio = long day of hiking
Both are “exercise,” but they hit your body totally differently.
Both are necessary for your overall health.

It’s been a while I know - that I have have posted a client’s progress
Mind you these numbers are not 100% accurate but act as a guide to see if we are moving in the right direction
And here it is - for those wondering if it’s possible - here’s proof - with just PURE WORK
No fat burners - No ozempic - JUST PURE WORK 💪
64yrs young - we started in April this year. The goal was to change body composition
The numbers speak for itself
Body Fat % dropped from 26.2% > 19.6%
Muscle Mass has almost doubled
As you see an increase in the scale is not necessarily a bad thing so long as you are building muscle
All Is Possible - provided you put in the work
