ARK Regatta doesn't happen without the 70+ volunteers who showed up all weekend on the race course, at registration, and on shore keeping everything running.

The 2026 ARK Regatta was bigger than last year, 120+ sailors, six fleets, and the RS21s joining the lineup for the first time. Bedford Basin put on a show, and so did our sailors.

Arriving in Halifax this morning for its first ever Canadian port visit, the Neoliner Origin is a wind-powered cargo vessel. It has two folding sails that can cut emissions on transatlantic crossings by 80-90%, and uses a hybrid diesel-electric motor for port maneuvers (or when there’s no wind).

BBYC is proud to host the 2026 WASZP Canadian Championships this weekend.

Foiling sailing at its finest, competitors from across the country on Bedford Basin for three days of high-performance racing. Come down to the club and cheer on the fleet!
