Glad to join our York Regional Police officers at the 2026 Race for Plunkett (Law Enforcement Torch Run) in support of Special Olympics Ontario last night.

Due to the sudden rain that has fallen this afternoon, bocce ball for tonight has been postponed. We will attempt to make up the games tomorrow.

Due to the ongoing diminished Air Quality Index that is now in effect through Sunday, we have decided to cancel practice today for the health and safety of all of our athletes.

The forecast for tonight is 31 degrees (35 with the humidex), which is the above the point where Special Olympics Ontario recommends that "non-essential outdoor activities should be cancelled". So, for the health and safety of all of our athletes, we have decided to cancel practice today. We will reschedule tonight's gameplay until tomorrow evening and try again then.

Due to rain and thunderstorms expected to last the entire day today, tonight's bocce ball games have been rescheduled to tomorrow night at 6:30 pm. See you then!
