THE PATH

Nobody gets there alone.

Behind every athlete is a parent.
Behind every coach is a mentor.
Behind every leader is someone who believed in them before they believed in themselves.

The medals are easy to see.

What people don’t always see are the conversations, the rides, the sacrifices, the lessons, the encouragement, the heartbreak, the hugs, and the people who stay beside you through all of it.

At NEO, success isn’t something we achieve alone.

It’s something we build together.

This is the path.

Everything You Need to Grow.

Growth isn’t always measured by medals.

Sometimes it’s measured by the person you’re becoming along the way.

Congratulations to .bjj on being named Marshall McLuhan C.S.S. Junior Female Athlete of the Year.

What makes this recognition special isn’t just the award itself—it’s what it represents.

Reezee is one of our NEO brand ambassadors and one of many athletes who makes a significant commitment to be part of this community. The long drives, the early mornings, the late nights, the balancing act between school, training, competition, family, and life—it all adds up.

Her success on the mats is easy to see.

What this award recognizes is everything happening off the mats.

Discipline.
Leadership.
Consistency.
Character.

Those are the qualities that create great athletes, but more importantly, great people.

We’re incredibly proud of the young woman Reezee continues to become and grateful that she represents our team with such humility, maturity, and professionalism.

The medals are impressive.

The person behind them is even more impressive.

Congratulations, Reezee! This is well deserved. 💛🖤

NEO System – Week 22 is Live

We’re officially in the home stretch.

With just three weeks remaining before we reset back to Week 1, we’re proud to say we’ve nearly completed an entire cycle of the NEO System curriculum.

This week we’re diving into one of Coach P’s personal favorite guards: the Spider Guard.

We’ll be covering:
• Spider Guard fundamentals
• Spider Lasso entries
• Overhead sweeps
• Submission opportunities from the position
• Basic Spider Guard passing concepts, including the Stack Pass

Whether you’re seeing these positions for the first time or refining details you’ve used for years, the goal remains the same: build understanding through repetition and connection.

A huge congratulations to the students who started at Week 1 and have stayed committed to the process. The curriculum only works if people show up, put in the reps, and trust the system.

Members: the full tutorial is now available in the Gymdesk app under the Content section.

Study it. Drill it. Apply it.

Lock in. Level up.

Not every path looks the same.

Some kids start martial arts to build confidence.
Some start to make friends.
Some start because they need structure.
Some start because they dream big.

Quentin started young.

One tournament became another.
One medal became years of discipline.
Years of discipline became a journey that eventually led to the world stage.

But what makes Quentin’s story special isn’t just the title.

While pursuing World Championships in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, he also pursued another dream — acting, performance, and creative expression.

Because at NEO, the goal was never to build athletes only.

The goal is to build capable people.

People who can lead.
People who can commit.
People who can pursue multiple goals with confidence.
People who understand that growth in one area of life strengthens the others.

World Champion.
Actor.
Mentor.
Student.
Leader.

More than a World Champion.

This is what The Path is about.

Not perfection.
Not shortcuts.
Not overnight success.

Just years of growth, consistency, setbacks, lessons, support, and showing up again and again.

Every path starts somewhere.

Start yours today.

DM “PATH” to begin.

🦋 Last week, we focused on deep half guard entries and using deep half to recover from bad positions.

This week, the reaction changes.

When your opponent pressures hard into your wrestle-up, sometimes the answer isn’t to keep driving forward. Sometimes the answer is to create space, open the position, and attack from a different angle.

That’s where the Butterfly Sweep comes in.

Good Jiu-Jitsu isn’t forcing one move to work.

It’s understanding the reaction, making the adjustment, and flowing into the next opportunity.

Week 21 of the curriculum is live on the members app and will carry us into the final phase of this curriculum cycle.

Keep learning. Keep adapting. Keep growing. 👊

Leadership isn’t a title. It’s an example.

Beginning tomorrow, several of our coaches and leaders head to Long Beach for the 2026 World Championships.

For months they’ve balanced training, coaching, work, school, and family commitments while continuing to serve the students who trust them every day.

That’s what makes this group special.

They don’t just teach discipline, consistency, and resilience.

They live it.

As competitors, they’ll test themselves on one of the biggest stages in our sport.

As leaders, they’ve already done the most important work — helping build the culture and standards that continue to move our academy forward.

We’re proud of the example they set and excited to see them represent NEO on the world stage.

Time to go to work.

Back to normal. Back to work. 🥋

After a month of tournaments, travel, and long weekends, it was great to see the academy buzzing again today.

Wrestling. Competition training. Kids Muay Thai. Adult Muay Thai.

Packed rooms. Great energy. Lots of growth.

And we’re not done yet.

Starting in June, Sundays get even better with the addition of a new Ladies Cardio Kickboxing class at 11:00 AM, creating an even stronger pathway for fitness, confidence, and skill development while allowing our 12:30 PM Muay Thai class to place greater focus on technical development, sparring, and fight preparation.

The work continues.

See you next Sunday. 👊

When Diego started training, he wasn’t the loudest kid in the room.

He wasn’t the most aggressive either.

What he was, from the very beginning, was consistent.

He showed up.
He listened.
He learned.
He cared about the people around him.

Over the years, we’ve watched him win tournaments, lose tournaments, earn promotions, and achieve goals he once only dreamed about.

But that’s not what makes his story special.

What makes Diego special is the person he’s becoming.

A teammate people trust.
A student younger athletes look up to.
A quiet leader who leads through actions instead of words.

The medals are memories.
The belts are milestones.

The real achievement is the character built along the way.

That’s the path.

Not because of what Diego has won.

Because of who he’s become.

And that’s exactly what we’re building here.
