accept members and volunteers regardless of age, orientation, faith or ability. Although we are a women's league, men are more than welcome to participate as referees, coaches, and volunteers. Players have to be 18 years or older, but anyone younger is welcome to help out as a volunteer. As a new league, we are very enthusiastic about the sport of roller derby, and we are encouraging any new members to join! No experience necessary! However, all players must be aware that we are a full contact, competitive league. There is a high level of committment required of members. Practices are twice a week, and players are all involved in bout production, events, charity work, and executive functions.
