I love to knit sweaters. Most are Icelandic yoke sweaters but they are all knit with 100% Atlantic Canadian Wool. I do not design the colour work.

I do change the style of the sweaters sometimes and mix and match patterns.

I have some exciting news...
I will be doing my first market on March 28th, from 10-12 at the LCLC in Bridgewater. I will have some knit stuff as well as Wonder Cream and lip chap.
I am sharing a table with a friend who is selling dog tug toys and frisbees that she made. I hope to see some of you there!

I just bought a pound of local beeswax for my next batch of products. The smell is amazing ♥️🐝

I just wanted to reach out and say "Hi", it's been awhile. It has been a whirlwind summer and fall for us. We have moved our family across town and we have downsized in square feet, not stuff lol. Not a great combination.
I am still trying to find great labels for my products. I am hoping to attend a market at some point but probably not this winter. We have so much to get done here and I have to get the rabbits ready for winter. I haven't had time to knit up socks. I have a few sweaters and hats left though.

Over the next few months I will be rebranding my Tranquil Knits page. I am changing it to Sweetfern Knits and Naturals. I have been making natural products for myself, family and friends for over 10 years. I use organic where I can and I love to forage what I can. Sweetfern happens to be one of my all time favourite herbs. I use it mostly in tea. There is nothing better then walking in the woods and brushing up against a Sweetfern bush :)
This summer when the Sweetfern and Calendula are growing, I will get some pictures to update my page.

I know the market for natural products is already flooded but I am going to put my products out there and see what happens.
The glass jars I use can be cleaned, sterilized and reused. If you buy a product in glass and bring it back to me empty then I will take $1 off your next glass jar purchase. I can't reuse the covers.

I currently have a small batch of 3 different products. I will put a description with each picture. If you are interested in trying anything than please reach out.

Complete ❤️
She loves it 😄
It's a horrible time of year to get a picture lol
So making a liner was beyond my skill set but I sewed snaps on the arm openings for when she doesn't want her arms out and I added some cotton around the opening to reinforce the knitting.

FINALLY.... I have this knit. When it dries I have to make an inner liner to help with stretching and finish the edges with a pretty ribbon. I really lost motivation with this project. It took a whole year. I will post pictures when it is all finished.

I know I haven't posted in a long time. I took a bit of a knitting break. I am still working on the cape but getting closer to finishing. The colour work will soon be finished. Then I cut it open and knit the hood.

I am currently working on a hooded cape for my daughter. It has beautiful cables running down both sides. It has a steek so I get to cut the whole thing open... Always an interesting moment 🥴 It's going to take me forever but she shouldn't really outgrow it.
