Last night, BBA held our Annual General Meeting, and we’re excited to announce our Board of Directors for the 2027 season!

Brighton Baseball is completely volunteer-run. Our board members give their time and energy to help make sure the season runs smoothly and, most importantly, that our kids have a great baseball experience.

We’re very thankful to everyone who continues to volunteer and help make Brighton Baseball what it is.

⚾️ Exciting news for our 2014 & 2015 players!

We’re excited to announce that Justin Verner has accepted the role of Head Coach for the 2027 13U House League Select Team!

If you’ve played baseball in Brighton, chances are you know Justin. He has been involved with Brighton Baseball for the past 7 years and brings 15 years of experience coaching baseball, along with 26 years as a registered NCCP coach in various sports.

We’re looking forward to having Justin lead the team this season!

Tryout dates will be released very soon so please keep an eye on this page and your email for more information.

There is a **$25 tryout fee, which can be sent by e-transfer to [email protected] - Please include your athlete’s name and birth year in the comments of the e-transfer.

⚾ 11U House League Select Tryouts ⚾

Tryouts for the 2027 11U House League Select team will be held at King Edward Park on:

📅 Friday September 25 — 6:00–8:00 PM
📅 Monday September 28 — 6:00–8:00 PM
📅 Wednesday September 30 — 6:00–8:00 PM

A few important details:

• Players must play on a House League team. This does not have to be a Brighton team
• House League Select is an additional program and is played in addition to regular House League
• The tryout fee is $25 per player and must be sent to [email protected] before arriving at the first tryout

We are also still collecting interest for other age groups. More information regarding those age groups will be shared after October 1st.

DID YOU KNOW?

Your child doesn’t have to play House League in Brighton to play Brighton House League Select!

As long as they are playing House League in a QBL centre, they can try out for Brighton’s Select team. That includes centres such as Quinte West, Warkworth, Colborne, and more!

So if your player is looking for a little more baseball this season, come out and try out for Brighton Select!

11U - you can register for tryouts - dates TBD for fall
9U, 13U and 15U please indicate if you are interested if coaches are available.

Select Coaches Call

Due to player interest in other age groups (9U, 13U, and 15U), BBA has decided to reopen the call out for coaches for the 2027 House League Select Season until October 1, 2026.

You can email [email protected] and request an application form.

Also, if you have a player who is interested in playing select at any of those age divisions, please make sure you fill out the interest form below. 11U can follow the same link to register for fall tryouts (dates TBD).
