This weekend, Coach Karma will be representing the Embracing Ability Program at the FREE Back to School Resource Fair at the Burlington Lions Club, from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Come out and connect with local organizations and learn more about the resources and supports available to children, youth, and families, including:

• Mental Health Supports
• Recreation & Inclusive Programming

Soccer Volunteers Wanted!

Fall is just around the corner, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers (ages 13+) to join our inclusive soccer program for athletes ages 5–15 with developmental and/or physical disabilities.

Help build confidence, friendships, and a love of soccer in a fun, supportive environment! 🙌

📅 Saturdays, October 17–December 19, 2026
📍 Sherwood Forest Park
⏰ 8:45–11:15 a.m.

Volunteer Requirements:
✔️ Ages 13+
✔️ Minimum 80% attendance
✔️ Complete AODA training
✔️ Positive, patient, and ready to make a difference!

What an amazing team of coaches we have lined up for our Embracing Ability Program this fall! ⚽💙

Our coaching team brings together a wonderful mix of experience, knowledge, enthusiasm, and—most importantly—a genuine passion for creating an inclusive and supportive soccer environment where every athlete can feel successful.

We are so excited to welcome our returning athletes and coaches, and to meet all of the new families joining us this season. Together, we’ll continue to build confidence, develop soccer skills, create friendships, and make sure everyone has the opportunity to be part of the team. 🙌

Have a business, service, experience or item you could donate? We would love to hear from you! Every donation helps us raise more funds for the Embracing Ability Program.

We’ll need some amazing volunteers behind the scenes to help make sure everything runs smoothly.

Boston Pizza will generously be giving the Embracing Ability Program 10% of all food purchases made between 5:00–8:00 PM during our fundraiser. That means every pizza, pasta, burger and meal purchased during the event helps support our athletes! 🍕❤️
