Gardens of Delight

Right now it’s all about the harvest! So far some of the peas, tomatoes, onions, spinach, garlic, beans and zucchini have been processed and ready for storage. Feeling good! These onions came off the roof of the garage this morning and are hanging to dry.

Went out to the greenhouse this morning and the pest control team was still there. Happy to share the space with these birds😊

Started harvesting the onions from the roof of our garage today! Thank Kath Smyth for the Walla Walla seeds💕more long term storage onions are still growing so we will leave them alone for now.

Tomato season. One of my favourite things. Thanks you Great Uncle Ed for developing so many wonderful tomato varieties. Early Girl, Sub Arctic Plenty, Tiny Tim and more.

Yes! You can grow Rhododendrons in Calgary. This one has been relocated twice and is over 20 years old.

This delicate Hoya has never bloomed before! I’m beyond thrilled! It smells gorgeous 😊
