Another example of who’s? amazing crocheting. She got the Best Friends book and made the whole set. I am not sure which one is my favourite, but if I had to choose, it would be Ernie because of fond memories, and then Super Grover second, because he's just so sweet and funny.

I do 2 markets a year, and I've got a big one coming up in November. I'm going to have a whole thing, a whole set up for it this year, with 26 Long Dogs up for adoption. Sad Updates

On October 30, Meta’s policies become very unfriendly for business pages like mine. Here are the key points that impact Fat Lady Crochet:

1. They will scrape my websites for data and content to train their AI
2. I can’t opt out. Continuing to use FB is what they’re saying is my consent
3. If I decide to run paid ads, FB can change them, including using AI to change them and I become legally responsible for those AI changes.

I haven’t figured out how I’m going to move forward with this, but these are hostile terms. I’m just not sure I can agree to them.

But that puts me in a crappy spot because I’ve got 35k of you here and I don’t want to ask you to move to another platform with me. That is indeed the way I feel it’s heading though. I’m looking at Bluesky and Patreon. Do you have an opinion/ preference/ suggestion? I appreciate your input.

Going over some of my old patterns, updating them and whatnot. Wenonah, who is one of my regular testers, did these 2 for me. She's amazing. I'm working on getting my retired patterns into books now and the 80's collection will be coming up pretty soon here.

Do you feel like this? Like..... my fellow gen-x ladies, I just feel this so much now. The years I spent trying though 😜🙃😅

I work with a couple millennials and they are truly the cat's ass. Like I adore them. One of them said something the other day that I'm bringing into my regular lexicon. I'd complained to her about a minor work thing and she told me she was "incandescent with rage" about it. Incandescent. With. Rage. 🤩 I feel that in an overall general way lately. It is this vibe that then helps me remember we were never meant to fit in. Long Dog in his ugly sweater and kooky leggings, totally embraces this. Long Dog does what Long Dog wants.
