On drugs, committing crimes, and in jail by the time he was 17, Tom went on to become a well known local drug dealer who was near death with a mental illness at 23 years old. Tom survived, experienced a miraculous intervention by a selection of adults and his parents, and went to get his first adult job, first home purchase, and retirement savings by the time he was 27 years old.
