Leaning into our new space, our new selves, in this new season
🌷
2 under 3 is no joke or for the faint of heart but here are a few things I’ve learned…
✨
- as a planner it’s nice to have a plan but be open to throwing it out
- it’s true, the days are long but the years are short
- it’s our job to invite play
- chill the f out
- go outside
- sing and dance parties daily
- let them see us be affectionate, disagree and repair
🙌🏽

Who else feels like January was a season of its own? 🌪✨
We started the month celebrating my moms 73rd birthday and finished it off with the Lunar Nee Year 🐍💥
Stole some moments for just the two of us—a real covert operation but oh-so-rewarding. 🕵️♂️❤️ And yes, I did break free for a girls’ night out where we stayed in—because sanity. 🍹👯♀️
Feels like we’re kinda, sorta getting a hang of this beautiful chaos called life. 2025, keep the adventures coming—we’re here for it! 🌟🚀
How did January treat you? Spill in the comments!

Our last month as a family trio
🙌🏽
October has brought an immense amount of gratitude, hilarity, grief and adventure
🥰
People keep asking if we feel settled and moved in and TBH knowing we were hosting a party just 2.5 weeks of us moving in really helped us get our butts in gear.
😅😂🙃
Most of our stuff is now unpacked and most immediate renovations have been completed. and I’m feeling mostly ready to bring our newest addition home in a matter of days.
📦✅
Highlights include:
F learning how to run as now he has space.
We were finally able to host friends and family in a group larger than 4.
The views in the hood are different in the best kind of way.
Taking my little sister to her first 18+ concert
🫶🏽
If you’re in a spot of uncertainty and worry know that time keeps going and you keep growing if you want it.
Lemme know your biggest lesson of October / 2024 so far
✨

They say it takes a village and that is NO JOKE
✨
Thankful for our crew that shows up and shows out for our little growing fam of 4
🥰
We’ve never had space to host more than 2 couples at a time so to have a full house of our own felt magical and a taste of all things to come
🙌🏽
But before we host again we are buckling down and prepping for our little boy who we will be meeting in a matter of weeks
💙
This pregnancy has been different. It’s been harder. It’s been more fun. It’s been bigger. And it’s almost over. So we are soaking in these last moments of the 3 of us and the new home we are filling with love and laughter.
🤟🏽

As a control freak by nature it can be hard to ask for help
🫠
But being 7 months pregnant and having an 18 month old there was no choice but reaching out for help during our move
📦
It really does take a village and not just to raise kids but to live a life that feels full
🥰
So thank you to the crew that shows up for us and will continue to do so. I’m so glad our kids get to know you
🤟🏽
Show up for your people - even when they don’t ask
Cuz sometimes that’s when they need it the most

🫶🏽
I didn’t think I could possibly love you any more, and then I watched you become a dad and daaammmn (probs why we are expecting again 😅)
Thank you for being our rock, our cook, our pack mule, our voice of reason and adventure
Freddie & the one on the way are the luckiest kids cuz we have you.

Alignment—you’d think it’s all about ‘straight lines’, right? But here’s the laugh: it’s more like a dance between peaks and valleys, with a sprinkle of surprises you’d never see coming.
🌄
And as I navigate the new rhythm of motherhood, while also expecting our newest little member, I’ve realized this journey of alignment is beautifully complex. It’s a blend of expert navigation and the pure, joy-filled chaos of stepping into the unknown. Embracing each moment of this dance teaches me more about balance, resilience, and the beauty of unexpected twists.
🤰🎉
So, here I am, your guide and fellow traveller, learning and laughing along the way.
What has your journey of alignment taught you?
Drop a comment and let’s share this beautifully winding path together.

In his pointing era
👆🏽👉🏽👇🏽👈🏽
We decided to have a little family vacay before mama goes back to work
🫣
For a second we talked about not even going… Freddie was sprouting a bunch of teeth and had a bit of a fever and really just hated everything most people.
But we figured if he was going to be cranky might as well be outside
🏞️
He would wake up beyond cranky and as soon as we stepped outside the tiny cabin he would stop.
We would take some deep breaths and he would start pointing at everything he heard
💚
Watching him really start to enjoy nature is so much fun
😻
And to sit outside by a fire with .adventures at the end of our days was just the best
