🩷 QUICK TIPS 🩷
When it’s cold, who wants to move! Everybody would rather just hermit in the warmth. But for our horses digestion, that’s definitely not ideal.
They’re locomotion helps to stimulate the regular mobility through their gut. If they’re not moving, they also don’t get stimulated to drink as much. Stimulating them to drink, as well as continue to move is going to be essential as the temperatures go up and down.
How do you stimulate water? Electrolytes is an obvious one, and we love Trisana Nutrition for their all natural bio available electrolyte. You can also use exercise as well as wet, mashes and extra fluid on their concentrates.
