When your mare looks this good just 4 weeks postpartum.

You can tell a lot about a breeding program by the condition of the mares after they foal. Pregnancy and nursing take a tremendous amount of energy out of them, so maintaining healthy weight and overall condition postpartum says a lot about the care and nutrition happening behind the scenes.

We put a huge amount of focus into keeping our mares healthy and thriving year round, and it is so rewarding seeing that reflected during foaling season. ✨

C**t starting season is officially underway over here.

We currently have five c**ts in for the month of May and every single one of them is coming along beautifully. We will be welcoming another 5 for the month of June.

It’s always rewarding watching these young horses start putting the pieces together and gain confidence with each ride.

Our c**t starting rates are the exact same as our regular training rates because whether it’s a quiet 3 year old c**t, a 15 year old feral stallion, or a 400 lb ostrich with unresolved emotional issues, we’re still gonna climb on and figure it out. 🤠

We’ve never really believed in cookie cutter training timelines or mandatory minimums. Every horse is different, and a lot of it comes down to the owner and what happens after the horse goes home. If someone is committed and capable of continuing the work correctly after 30 days, why wouldn’t we support that?

At the same time, some horses genuinely need longer and we’ll always be honest about that. Our goal is to set horses and owners up for success rather than pushing everyone into the same program length.
