What an incredible weekend at the 2026 ISKF Nationals in Calgary!

From powerful performances and spirited competition to outstanding sportsmanship and camaraderie, this year’s event showcased the very best of traditional karate. Every competitor, instructor, judge, volunteer, and supporter helped make this championship a tremendous success.

Congratulations to all athletes who stepped onto the floor and gave their all. Your dedication, discipline, and perseverance were inspiring to watch.

Day 2 of the 2026 ISKF Nationals focused on growth, learning, and dedication to the art of the crucial juxtaposition between being grounded and staying loose. The "song of the mats" was heard throughout the day.

Throughout the day, participants took part in seminars led by senior instructors and a lucky few challenged themselves during Dan examinations. The hard work, focus, and spirit shown on and off the floor reflected the true heart of ISKF karate.

Congratulations to everyone who stepped forward today to train, test, and continue their journey.

Join us at the ISKF Calgary Honbu Dojo for an exciting evening of training with special guest instructor Sensei Denis Houde from Quebec.

Sensei Houde is a 7th Dan and a respected member of the ISKF Technical Committee, bringing decades of experience and technical excellence to every class.

Class Times:
White to Brown Belts: 6:00–7:00 PM
Black Belts: 7:00–8:00 PM
