Charlottetown, this is it! After two absolutely incredible nights of dancing on the waterfront this summer, we are coming together for our third, final, and biggest outdoor Latin dance night of 2026! ☀️🌴
Let’s spice up the Charlottetown waterfront one last time a lo latino! It is Charlottetown Busker Festival weekend, so the downtown waterfront is going to be completely electric. Get ready to experience the absolute magic of dancing right next to the ocean under the stars! 🌟🕺
🎶 Expect an amazing mix of Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue with an unmatched view of the sea.
🆓 Best of all, it is 100% FREE, family-friendly, and open to absolutely anyone!

To get the absolute most out of this night, I have structured the evening into a perfect 2-part program. I highly recommend arriving right at 7:00 PM so you don't miss a single step (remember that you're getting this all for free):
🔥 🕒 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM — Introductory Beginner Salsa Class
This class is designed specifically for absolute beginners who have never danced before! We break down the core footwork, rhythm, and partner basics from scratch. Attending this hour is essential so you can build your confidence and learn the exact tools you need to join in on the main floor! 🐣👟
🎉 🕒 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM — The Big Latin Social Dance Party
Where the real fun begins and the heart of the event! Instead of just watching from the sidelines, everyone steps onto the floor together to practice their new moves, mingle, laugh, and dance the night away to incredible music! 💃🔥
👟 Bring comfortable shoes for the concrete floor, maybe also a water bottle. No partner or prior experience required—just bring your friends and your energy!
Prepare yourselves for a spectacular night full of sabor latino to close out the summer season!

What an absolute dream of a summer salsa weekend! ☀️🌊❤️
From dancing on the beautiful downtown Charlottetown waterfront at the Queen's Wharf last night, to maximizing our salsa progress at Downstreet Dance today with guest instructor from Moncton Ahmed Zniber and his dance partner Florence Brunet —this community is building something truly special! 🕺✨
We trained hard, leveled up our understanding of partner connection, got into more complex partnerwork for LA style salsa, dips, and dived deeper into lead/follow etiquette and tips for handling different social dance scenarios! We wrapped it all up by sharing some delicious Peruvian food together at Sumaq Charlottetown to finish off on a high note! 🇵🇪🍽️
A massive thank you to Ahmed and Florence for sharing your incredible expertise, and a huge shoutout to every single dancer who stepped onto the floor with us this weekend. You all brought the exact energy and passion that makes this journey worth it! 🙌✨
