I love you. I am you. I walk beside you in our journeys of remembering.
But hear me out for a second.
• You don’t need another wellness trend. You need enough quiet to notice what you actually need.
• Rest isn’t something you earn.
• Healing doesn’t always look like feeling better. Sometimes, and often, it looks like responding differently.
• The practices that nourish you can become harmful when they’re disconnected from what you actually need.
• More isn’t always better. More classes. More supplements. More self improvement. Sometimes less is the medicine.
• Community heals in ways that information never will. I can’t stress this enough.
• There are seasons for discipline, and there are seasons for gentleness. Wisdom is knowing the difference.
• You can’t breathe your way out of a life that consistently asks too much of you. It’s just not possible.
• Sometimes the most courageous practice is cancelling the workout and taking the nap.
• Your body whispers long before it screams. First the feather. Then the brick. Then the bus. Learning to listen is the practice.
Your journey is uniquely yours. Don’t forget that.
The wellness “guru” selling peptides, six pack abs, or the perfect program isn’t living your life. They don’t have your body, your history, your nervous system, or your season.
We’ve never had more access to treatments, gyms, protocols, and programs. Yet we’ve never seemed so disconnected from ourselves.
Fear makes us move differently.
So does love.
Just a mirror. 🪞

I can count all my living blood relatives on two hands, with room to spare.
Creating community has become so much bigger than having people who share my DNA or finding other moms in the same season of life.
I spend time with many seniors each week, and every now and then someone comes into your life and you just know.
Shannon is playful, creative, optimistic, and a wonderful friend.
She teaches me and my daughter so much. Sometimes intentionally, and sometimes simply by being unapologetically herself.
One thing I’ve been noticing through our conversations is how personal our experience of time really is.
She’ll say, “they were young,” and I picture a 10 year old. She means someone in their twenties.
She’ll say she’s been trying something “for a little while,” and I’m thinking a few months. She means a decade.
Those little moments gently remind me how much perspective shapes our lives.
Friendship isn’t about age. It’s about feeling seen, laughing often, learning from one another, and making each other’s worlds a little bigger.
So here’s your reminder to stay open. Your next great friend might be decades older or younger than you.
