It was a beautiful day for the Rich Weiss memorial race yesterday. Thank you to all the volunteers for making it happen!

CKC is proud to be a recipient of funding through Sport Canada’s Community Sport for All Initiative (CSAI).

The initiative supports national-level organizations in creating more accessible, community-based sport programming that reduces barriers to participation—particularly for Black, Indigenous and racialized communities, 2SLGBTQI+ individuals, persons with disabilities, newcomers, seniors and those with low incomes.

Through CKC’s We Paddle program this year, this funding has been allocated to clubs and communities across seven provinces and two territories in Canada, helping deliver inclusive, locally driven paddling opportunities from coast to coast to coast.

We are thrilled to welcome Coach Miles to the CCE Team and looking forward to the 2026 season on the water together!

CCE is excited to launch a special paddling program to introduce young ladies (ages 12–17) to the thrill and adventure of whitewater kayaking!

This program is FREE, and all equipment will be provided. The application deadline is April 12.
