BC Kayak Academy develops whitewater paddling skills in canoe and kayak athletes. I look forward to working with you to realize your whitewater paddling goals.
We work with youngsters getting into the sport, athletes competing in canoe slalom at the provincial and national level, and adults who continue to improve their skills. I am Stanislava Smieskova, I used to compete for the Slovak National canoe slalom team. I have a Masters degree in Physical Education and Sport with a specialization in Canoe (kayak)

I am just back from the Canoe Slalom Junior / U23 World Championships in Foix, France. It was great to support my son with the Canadian national team. Michal finished 15th in the semifinals for K1M, and the Junior K1M team finished 5th.

Congratulations to my son Michal who has just won the Junior Gold medal at the Pan American Championships in Montgomery in the USA. This reminds me of my Gold at the Junior World Championships in Wausau, also in the USA.
