For the communities of Alderville, Curve Lake, Hiawatha and Scugog, the Cobourg Cougars will be providing free Tickets and Transportation to the game!

The Cobourg Cougars have traded Forward Lewis Hergaarden to the Pickering Panthers in exchange for for ‘07 Born Forward Nole Faulkner!

Faulkner is a 3 Year OJHL Veteran with current total of 23 Goals, 34 Assists for a total 57 Points through 98 Games Played!

Yesterday, the Cobourg Cougars spent the day at the Beautiful Cobourg Beach! Getting some much needed RnR before the season kicks off!

SIGNING ALERT

The Cobourg Cougars are excited to announce the Signing of ‘07 Born Forward, Briir Long!

Hailing from Astorville, Ontario, Briir was signed with the Brantford Bulldogs in the 2023-24 season from the GOJHL and was then traded to the North Bay Battalion during the 2024-25 season into the 2025-26 Season!

Briir has also been drafted by the Hamilton Bulldogs during the 2023 Draft!
During his playoff run with the Greater Sudbury Cubs in 2026, Briir tied for 1st in goals scored and led the team with 28 Points in 11 Games Played!! Making himself instrumental in the Cubs playoff run!

The Schedule is Set!! Your Cougars are slated to take on the Aurora Tigers on Friday, Sept 11th to kick off our Regular Season!

And Monday, September 14th, we’re set to take on the Lindsay Muskies in our 2026/27 HOME OPENER!! We cannot wait to see you all there to welcome your Brand New Cobourg Cougars!!

JUNIOR ACADEMY

The Cobourg Cougars Junior Academy is back!!

Our Academy staff, with a combined 34 years of professional playing experiences want to pass that knowledge onto you!!

Join Head Coach Derek Smith, Assistant Coach Darryl Lloyd and General Manager Ryan Ramsay as they teach you the skills to get you from Minor Hockey, all the way up to Professional Level Hockey!!

Your Cougars come away victorious over the Panthers with a score of 5-2!!

LewisHergaarden had an excellent night with a 4 goal game and Isaac Larmand capping it off!

Goaltender CarterNadon making some excellent saves to keep it a 2 goal game!!

The Cougars kick off the regular season with a roadie to Aurora on September 11th, puck drop at 7:00pm.

And your Cougars Home Opener will be on Monday, September 14th as we take on the Lindsay Muskies!
