Bragg Creek Ladies Fun Hockey

Just when we thought the season was over, our miracle-working Rink Rats got the ice back! Edges were a bit rough, but it didn't stop the "Jills" from a beautiful evening of hockey.

The Bragg Creek Jills were represented at this year's Kimmett Cup in Cochrane. On the ice, and thanks to the warm weather, on the pavement. An amazing day in memory, and in support of local charities.

The Bragg Creek Jills were on the road this week, playing the shiny new Diamond Valley Ice Pack!

Let's start by saying we’re pretty sure half their roster still has a "bedtime" and their pre-game meal was fruit snacks and juice boxes. ​They kept us bad moms on our toes (and often our asses), but we battled hard. They might have been fast, but we were the fun!

Another fun and fast (for us) night on the ice for the Bragg Creek Jills!

What a night! Perfect temperature, beauty ice and amazing ladies.

And for the first time, we had two goalies! So much fun.

Bragg Creek Ladies' Hockey is looking for used goalie equipment. Any condition. That's right, we are growing and now have ladies interested in taking the net position!

If you have any equipment you'd be willing to donate, our goalies would be incredibly grateful. Some of our ladies can snipe! Others may unintentionally skate into the goalies. Either way, there are risks! 😆

It's almost that time again!

The 2025/26 ladies' hockey season is approaching.

Tuesdays 7:30 - 8:45pm

Each week, we will start with skills drills followed by a game of shinny. We invite all skill levels for a fun night of learning and fitness.

*Must have hockey skates, helmet with cage and stick. Protective gear is optional, but is recommended to soften the ice.

Another Bragg Creek "Jills" hockey season has come to an end. We had such an amazing group of ladies. Our time on the ice was all about learning, laughing, support, encouragement, fitness, and fun! Many thanks to the Bragg Creek Community Centre staff, and our heroic rink crew. We wouldn't be on the ice without them.
