🏁 OIC ROUND 3 RECAP 🏁
What a weekend for Pharaoh and the #71! The pace was there, the battles were there, and unfortunately, the final result doesn't tell the story of how strong he ran all weekend.
Pharaoh qualified 7th in the A Group out of 18 for the heat races.
🏎️ Heat 1: Started strong, but was passed over the final couple of laps and finished 8th.
🔥 Heat 2: Fought hard and worked his way as high as 4th, finishing 5th.
🏁 Super Heat: Starting 6th on the outside, Pharaoh made a great start and finished 7th.
🏆 THE FINAL
Pharaoh started 7th and quickly settled into 6th, running right behind 4th and 5th and looking to move forward.
Unfortunately, contact between 4th and 5th created an incident ahead of Pharaoh. He tried to avoid the contact but was collected in the process.
He dropped back to 13th, but he didn't give up. Pharaoh got back on track and fought hard to the checkered flag.
Unfortunately, a 5-second penalty for not leaving racing room while avoiding the incident dropped his official result to 18th out of 24.
Definitely not the result we wanted.
It's frustrating to see another potential top-6 finish disappear late in the race, especially after how hard Pharaoh has worked all season.
But we're choosing to focus on the positives.
The speed is there. The fight is there. And most importantly, Pharaoh never quit. 💪🏁
Now it's time to turn the page.

🏁 BACK TO OIC RACING! 🏁
After missing Round 2 at Mosport while we were competing in Cup Karts Canada at Brechin, Pharaoh and the #71 are ready to get back to Ontario Inter-Club Challenge racing! 🔥

Unfortunately, we have a change of plans for tomorrow. 🏁
Due to a shortage of volunteers in the Cadet class, Pharaoh will unfortunately not be running in the Cole’s Cup tomorrow.
We’re disappointed to miss this special event, especially with the incredible cause behind Cole’s Cup. ❤️ We hope everyone has a fantastic day celebrating Cole’s memory and supporting Cole’s World.
But don’t worry, the #71 will be back on track soon! 🔥

🏁 PHARAOH IS HEADING TO COLE’S CUP! 🏁
This Sunday, August 30th, Pharaoh will be back at Canadian Mini Indy for a very special event, Cole’s Cup, held in memory of Cole Hernandez. ❤️
Pharaoh will be participating in the HRKC Demo Class with his #71 Briggs Cadet, showcasing what the next step in a young driver’s racing journey can look like! 🏎️💨
Cole was a young racing fan who loved cars, karting and Formula 1. Despite his battle with AML, he dreamed of helping other children and families. His vision lives on through Cole’s World Organization, which supports critically ill hospitalized children.
🎟️ The day will feature racing, raffles, music and plenty of family fun, with 100% of raffle proceeds going to Cole’s World.
If you're in the area, come out and support this incredible cause and cheer on Pharaoh and the HRKC drivers!

🏁 WHAT. A. WEEKEND. 🇨🇦
The 2026 Canadian Karting Championship was definitely a rollercoaster of events for Pharaoh, but what a way to finish his first-ever Nationals!
After Thursday’s practice, Pharaoh was looking like he could be in great contention for the weekend. Friday started strong with a fast qualifying lap, earning him 7th out of 15 for the heat races.
Heat 1 didn’t go as planned. After a great start and gaining a couple of spots, Pharaoh was unfortunately collected in a small incident and came off, resulting in a DNF.
Saturday meant it was time to fight back, and Pharaoh brought his A-game. Starting 7th in Heat 2, he worked his way up to 5th and, more importantly, was finally able to stay with the front group for the entire race. 💪
That earned him a 10th-place start for the Pre-Final, where Mom and Dad had their own little epic fail. 🤦‍♂️ While Pharaoh rocketed up to 6th off the start, the engine wasn’t tightened enough, and the chain came off before the end of Lap 1. Another DNF and Pharaoh were sent to the back for Sunday’s final.
But he never gave up.
Starting from the back, Pharaoh slowly picked off one kart at a time. He was working his way toward 6th and 5th when he unfortunately got bumped. Thankfully, he was able to get back on track, losing only a couple of spots, and crossed the line 8th.
Then came the final twist.
A DQ for the race leader moved Pharaoh up to 7th place overall! 🏆
From two DNFs to a 7th-place finish at his first Canadian Karting Championship.
We couldn’t be prouder of the fight he showed all weekend. He never gave up, never stopped pushing, and kept fighting right to the checkered flag.
🇨🇦 7th at Nationals. Not a bad first chapter.

🚨 WAIT… WHAT?! 🚨
We weren’t sure this was going to happen…
But somehow, we pulled it off.
🇨🇦 PHARAOH IS GOING TO NATIONALS! 🏁
After all the work, fundraising, planning and incredible support from our sponsors, family, friends and LS Motorsports, #71 is officially here at the 2026 Canadian Karting Championship!
Time to buckle in and go racing. 🔥

🏁 KARTFEST CANADA | WEEKEND RECAP 🏁
What a weekend at our home track! KartFest Canada brought together some of the strongest fields we've seen all season, giving Pharaoh plenty of opportunities to learn, battle, and push himself.
FRIDAY 🌧️☀️
The weekend started with rain in the morning and a dry track in the afternoon. Pharaoh qualified 7th of 22, finished 9th in the Pre-Final, and started the Final from 9th. He finished 9th on track, but penalties to other drivers moved him up to an official 7th-place finish. A great start to the weekend!
SATURDAY 🏁
Practice started slowly with a 13th-fastest lap, but Pharaoh bounced back to qualify 7th. After finishing 10th in the Pre-Final, he started the Final well but eventually lost the draft from the front group, finishing 11th.
SUNDAY 💪
A mishap at the start of qualifying left Pharaoh without a drafting partner in a 26-kart field, resulting in 15th. He held 15th through the Pre-Final, then fought his way forward in the Final to finish 11th.

It wasn't quite the weekend we were hoping for, but Pharaoh kept fighting every lap and gained valuable experience racing in large, draft-dependent fields.
