Couple new friends, a couple familiar faces, and a whole lot of bodybuilding s**t.

That’s one of the things I love most about this sport.

You come from different cities, different backgrounds, different walks of life… but somehow bodybuilding brings everybody into the same room.

Competing is cool. The physique is cool.

But meeting people, building friendships, sharing the experience with people who are just as obsessed with this s**t as you are… that’s what makes it even better.

Man, I fu***ng love this sport.

The L fired something inside me that no W ever could have.

That’s why you gotta be grateful for ALL of it.

The highs.
The lows.
The in-between.

The wins.
The losses.

There’s always some sort of divine wisdom behind it.

Trust it.

Have complete surrender to His decision.

That’s what Islam is about.

That’s literally what Islam means: submission.

Submit yourself fully to the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

He sees you.
He hears you.
He knows exactly what’s inside your heart.

And when you call upon Him, He is near. Extremely near.

You are exactly where you’re meant to be right now.

Even if you don’t understand why yet.

Just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Do your part. Trust Him with the outcome.

Tawakkul.

ATHLETE CHECK-IN: DONE. 185 LBS ON THE DOT. ALHAMDULILLAH. 🤲🏽

Weigh-ins and registration went super smooth. Made weight easily and got to meet some cool people and catch up with friends at the venue.

Honestly, one of my favorite things about bodybuilding shows is the people you meet along the way. Different countries, different backgrounds, same obsession. 😂

Now back to the hotel to CARB THE F**K UP, do my last exfoliation and get ready for my tan at 7:30 tonight.

The work is done.

The diet is done.
The cardio is done.
The training is done.

Less than 15 HOURS until I step on stage at my absolute best ever.

Man… life is fu***ng great.

Sometimes I really have to look around and remind myself that this is actually my life. It genuinely feels like I’m living in a movie right now. 🥹

So fu***ng grateful. Alhamdulillah for everything.

And thank you to EVERYONE supporting me, sending messages, making du’a, commenting, sharing and following this journey.

I see every single one of y’all.
