Tomorrow's the big day - Walleye Opener here in NW Ontario - where you'll find some of the best fresh water lakes in the world! Have fun out there, but please be safe!
There is this funny orange glowing object trying to break through the clouds. It is a nice sight after the recent gloomy & wet weather. Hopefully it stays that way for awhile!
Only Four - Count them 4 - more days till Walleye Opener! Forecast is for much warmer temperatures too, which is good as it has been pretty miserable the last few days.
The forecast is for a slow melt over the next 2 weeks, but still predicting a normal spring. As if a relentless winter wasn't enough last year, to top it off on April 01, 2014 we received a storm w/ about 20" of blowing snow - as shown in these 2 contrasting photos. Thankfully, it's a lot different this year.
