The forecast is for a slow melt over the next 2 weeks, but still predicting a normal spring. As if a relentless winter wasn't enough last year, to top it off on April 01, 2014 we received a storm w/ about 20" of blowing snow - as shown in these 2 contrasting photos. Thankfully, it's a lot different this year.

Holiday Train

The CPR Holiday Train arrives in the Patricia Region today! Ignace at 9:30 am, Dryden at noon and Vermilion Bay at 1:30 pm. Since its launch in 1999, the program has raised $9.5-million and collected 3.3-million pounds of food for North American Food Banks! http://www.cpr.ca/holiday-train/canada
