We are uncertain of what will happen over the next few weeks concerning schools and our karate classes, so we are initiating A Zoom class once per week for all our students. It will be on Wednesdays at 7 pm and will last no longer than 40 minutes. Because of time limitations please do your warm up prior to class. I will send the link to you either via text or messanger. Gis are manditory. Any questions contact me at 220-5670. Please confirm you received this post and your participation.

Alex forgot his Karate groin protector most likely in the washroom at Open Roads when he changed his clothes to go biking afterward. 😞
Please if you find it, let me know.
Thanks!

A martial arts club in Dryden, Ontario We are a martial arts club in Dryden, Ontario where we try to keep with Tatsuo Shimabuku's original teachings.
Our goal is to keep the purest form of Isshin-ryu Karate.
Operating as usual
Thank you to those dedicated students who have reached out to us for training. Those that haven't, feel free to do so.
Hello Everyone, Due to the continuing situation of Covid 19 it looks like we won't be in the dojo for some time. As comminicated in class, it was stressed that everyone should continue to practice on your own. That is what kata and basics was meant for.
At this time we are not offering on-line classes, however, we would be able to help students with your practicing in the following format:
Individual facetime for each one interested (for example- student perform basics and one kata the first session, next two katas next session and so on). This will give us an opportunity to help students perfect their skills.
Before you make a commitment make sure you have been practicing.
All student that are eligible to be promoted when we return to the dojo, are hopefully focused on continuing to practice and will take full advantage of this offer.
Please contact me via phone or text to arrange a time. (220-5670)
Continue to be safe.

Due to circumstances beyond our control no karate until further notice. Please send me a reply so that I know you received this message.
Below is the info in which I just receive:
You may have heard in the media that mediation involving the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) scheduled for this past weekend has ended without reaching a collective agreement. CUPE members in our school board include custodial staff, as well as maintenance and trade staff. As a Board, we respect our CUPE staff and value the work they do in our schools.
While this is a provincial issue, it will affect our schools as CUPE members in our schools begin job action TODAY (Monday, September 30, 2019). As a result, all Community Use of School permits for all KPDSB schools are being cancelled effective Tuesday, October 1, 2019 until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation and its impact and further updates will be posted to our website – www.kpdsb.ca
Thank you for your understanding.
