It’s encouraging to see that what we do at Odyssey aligns with how some of the best players in the world approach their training.
Basketball doesn’t look like 1-on-3, but individual development isn’t about replicating the game exactly. It’s about exposing yourself to more decisions, more contact, and more problems to solve.
The best training environments don’t give athletes the answer.
They give them a problem to solve.

Our second Odyssey Elite Camp is officially in the books 🏀
Over the weekend, athletes trained in an environment designed to translate directly to the game, competing, learning, and pushing themselves every rep.
Congratulations to all of our award winners, and thank you to every parent for trusting us with your athletes’ development.
Seeing returning athletes, meeting new families, and watching everyone improve is exactly why we do this.

A late closeout is one of the biggest advantages an offensive player can get.
Too often, players either rush the shot or over-dribble and let the defense recover.
The goal isn’t to make a highlight play. It’s to recognize the advantage before the defense takes it away.
Whether that’s a shot, one hard attack downhill, or a finish at the rim, learn to punish the closeout before it disappears.
