25 year old me would’ve loved this list.
1. The journey is the whole point.
Don’t lose the best years of your life chasing a destination. The journey IS your life.
2. Build a business that gives you a life.
Not one that takes over your entire life. The whole point is having the freedom, flexibility, and money to actually enjoy it.
3. Stop waiting until you make more money.
Take the trip. Plan the date night. Go for coffee with your mom. There will always be another income goal, launch, or reason to wait.
4. Stop doing what everyone else is doing.
Just because a strategy works for someone else doesn’t mean it’s right for you.
Build a business that works for YOUR life.
5. Let yourself change your mind.
The business you wanted five years ago might not be the business you want today. You’re allowed to outgrow old goals and create new ones.
6. Keep the promises you make to yourself.
Especially the small ones nobody else knows about. Every time you follow through, you build more trust in yourself.
7. Learn how to do less and do it better.
Productivity is not the same as efficiency. Just because you’re doing more doesn’t mean you’re actually getting more done.
8. Make sure you actually love your business.
Not the one that looks impressive on Instagram. The one that lets you make great money, do work you love, and have time for everything else that matters.
9. Pay attention to how you treat yourself.
I genuinely believe the secret to scaling lies in your self-belief and self-trust. You can have the best strategy, but if you’re constantly second-guessing yourself, you’ll always be looking for someone else to tell you what to do.
10. Easy is the default state.
As a high achiever, this might be the hardest thing to wrap your head around. You’ve been conditioned to believe success has to be hard.
Easy is default - hard is a choice.
✨ Save this. Your future self will thank you.
And if this found you at the exact right time… welcome. 💛
I’m building a corner of the internet for women who want a business they love, a life they’re obsessed with, and to become someone they’re proud of along the way.
