11AM on a Thursday, 8AM on a Friday, 11:30AM on a Saturday and 8AM AND 5PM on a Sunday. That’s a lot of early morning hockey but… THEY SHOWED UP!

I truly believe Fairview Minor Hockey has the best fans EVER!

The schools came out to our tournament opener on Thursday and the kids were loud and proud. But nothing will beat Sunday, both the 8am game and the 5pm game were so full of energy from our fans it was insane!!!

Thank you for supporting our girls this season, it was so amazing to see the community members come out even if they didn’t know anyone personally on the team. We are so proud to represent Fairview and surrounding communities.

Fun Fact- Provincial tournament hosts are not allowed to charge an entrance fee to the teams attending. Meaning the hosts are 100% fully responsible for the costs associated with hosting Provincials.

Without all these incredible sponsors there is absolutely no way we could have hosted such a great event.

We could not have held this incredible event without the help of our entire minor hockey association🏒

They showed up and worked the shifts so our parents could focus on the organization side of the tournament and for that we are so grateful.

From the entrance table, raffle table, penalty doors, score sheet and score clock to security and baking. Our little association rallied behind the U18 girls and helped make this the best Provincials tournament ever.

Thank you to the U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U18 teams, we really can’t thank you enough for stepping up and helping. *It truly does take a village🖤💛

We can’t forget the guys that kept everything moving along behind the scenes.

From keeping everything tidy and stocked up front to making sure our ice was perfect with every Zamboni pass.

We had some pretty great people help us out throughout Provincials. Long long days for our Hockey Alberta reps, but they powered through.

Thank you to Jessica Whelan & Janet Fairless from Hockey Alberta, one of them were there from start to finish every single day. They answered all my questions and helped deal with any conflicts.

Also another big thank you to Shaun Moskalyk, he was our referee coordinator. He put almost as many hours in at the rink as me that weekend lol. It’s not an easy job to organize the reffing for a tournament but he did a great job.
