Huge results for European GAA with both Amsterdam GAC and Barcelona Gaels winning he first rounds of the All-Ireland club competitions! 🤯

Speechless...

As a Westmeath man it was really disappointing to see another of our club sides go out of Leinster. Then as someone who has spent 5 years working with teams in Europe and further afield, this is a stunning couple of weeks for Gaelic Games Europe... First Amsterdam winning in the hurling last week and now Barcelona Gaels repeating last year's win by taking victory in Mullingar here today against Ballinagore by 1.10 to 0.10

With a quarter left they were 1.8 to 0.3 ahead and a late Ballinagore comeback fell short as, ironically, a Westmeath man hit the final point for the Iberian side!

The party begins in Mullingar and goes back to Catalunya before the Gaels enter into the semi final stages!!

Great to be able to commentate on it for ClubberTV - my own player of the Match was Barcelona number 6, Donegal man Aidan McLaughlin. He was immense from start to finish
