Join us for a Paddle into the weekend this Friday, July 24th from 9:00am-10:30am!
Designed as a chance to unplug, move your body, and reconnect with nature, this relaxed guided paddle is the perfect complement to your weekly wellness routine.
Whether you're looking to unwind after a busy week, enjoy some quiet time on the water, or simply start your Friday feeling refreshed, this paddle offers a welcoming space for all experience levels.
We'll paddle at a comfortable pace through calm, sheltered waters, taking time to appreciate the wildlife, scenery, and stillness of the river.
After check-in and a basic skills overview, we will slow paddle to the footbridge and back (about an hour roundtrip). This paddle will be led by a Paddle Canada certified Flatwater 1 SUP Instructor

Did you know paddling benefits more than just your body?
This National Paddling Week weβre highlighting how time on the water can support your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being in powerful ways:
πͺ Physically - paddling builds strength, endurance, balance, and coordination while getting you active outdoors.
π§ Mentally - being on the water can help reduce stress, improve focus, and create space to disconnect from daily distractions and reconnect with the present moment.
πΏ Spiritually - paddling offers a unique connection to nature, the water, and the world around us β creating moments of reflection, gratitude, and peace.
A quiet sunrise paddle, a weekend adventure, or time spent learning new skills with friends and community, paddling has a way of helping us slow down and reconnect with the world around us. Along with WePaddle Month, we encourage everyone to get outside, explore Canadaβs waterways, and experience the many ways paddling can support overall wellness.
