The beauty in the sun going down is in knowing that you're about to capture the most beautiful people, in their most natural state, and mother nature is going to paint you the prettiest sky's as a backdrop.

This evening, in particular, was so windy. I am grateful that Mikayla Crosier and Micaiah Gordon toughed out the cold, wispy wind, to capture these. Little Adaline was such a little trooper, too! Thank goodness for Uncle Virgil coming to her rescue and letting Mom and Dad have a little alone time. ❤️

Old Love And New ❤️

I wish our heart horses never got old. That they would get to the age that they are retired and just stay there, forever. Eating as much grass as their hearts desired, knowing that what they did for the inside of us, was appreciated. But then, come to think of it, old horses like Image wouldn't want it that way. They'd see the youngsters getting loaded in the trailer and taking the next generation of children for horseback rides and coming home with buckles...that they didn't win with them. The thrill of barrel racing and dancing pretty would no longer be theirs to uphold, and that's just not who they are. So I hold faith that when the time comes, Heaven holds all of my wishes and daydreams, and they will forever be with us at heart.
