Tips from Snap Trainer, Erin S. –

Start slow: For the first few minutes, keep the treadmill at a level that’s comfortable for you to maintain a conversation (or running sessions, if you’re just starting out). If you’re going too fast, it’s easy to lose track of breath and form!

👃Try to breathe through your nose as much as possible.
👣 Aim for forefoot falls instead of heel strikes.

Interval training is your friend – whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned runner, interval training can be a powerful addition to your training and is a great way to slowly increase your endurance + efficiency. Aim to include an interval session once a week!

🔴What does your membership at Snap Fitness Cobblestone mean to you?

It's great to be part of a nice little community of people trying to be better than they were yesterday. The staff are always great and welcoming. Snap Fitness has pretty much everything I need to achieve my fitness goals.

🔴How do you find/make the time to workout?

I live in the Cobblestone neighborhood and this location is very convenient. I find time in the evenings or over the noon hour to get in a workout. I make time some mornings by waking up early and getting to the gym before I go to work. I re-evaluated my priorities and decided that fitness is more important than playing video games.

🔴Why did you start working out?

My meat suit was too soft and doughy.

🔴Favorite gym quote/saying?

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body. Every cell in your body contains it and needs it to function. Low levels of magnesium can cause wicked leg cramps and low energy. No thank you!

Magnesium is absolutely essential for good health. According to the National Institute of Health, the recommended daily intake is 400–420 mg per day for men and 310–320 mg per day for women. You can get it from both food and supplements.

These foods are an excellent source:
- Spinach, 39% of the RDI in a cup (180 grams)
- Dark chocolate (70–85% cocoa): 33% of the RDI in 3.5 ounces (100 grams)
- Cashews: 25% of the RDI in a quarter cup (30 grams)

What does your membership at Snap Fitness Cobblestone mean to you?

Snap fitness is a beautiful lovely gym and I when from gym to gym but never felt at home. Now at Snap Fitness I feel like i am home, a place I can de-stress and feel my self again.

How do you find/make the time to workout?

I always make time for gym and can be morning or evening.

Why did you start working out?

I started working out to be healthy till I got hook into the bodybuilding competition mode. I did 3 show from 2016 to 2017 and 3 model shot. But this year in May 28 2022 I am making a return to the stage with the help of Snap Fitness.

Favorite gym quote/saying?

My favorite quote is stay humble and positive towards every single achievement.
