• Competed in 3 qualifier weekends;
Alberta Winter Games, Arctic Winter Games & U15 Provincials
• Qualified for the Alberta Winter Games, representing Zone 8
→ Bringing home 🥉 Bronze
• Played 19 Junior Youth League games
→ Undefeated season (18 wins + 1 tie)
→ 1st Place Finish
• Logged 100+ hours of practice & lesson ice time
→ A whole lot of commitment behind the scenes
• Competed in 2 U18 events
→ Getting a taste of what’s ahead as we transition from U15 into U18 next season
• Wrapped up the season with a couple of fun closing bonspiels
→ Ending the year with laughter, team spirit, and great memories
✨ Individual Highlights:
• Our skip competed with Sexsmith Secondary High School Zones
→ Bringing home 🥈 Silver
• Our third competed with Peace Wapiti Academy Zones
→ Bringing home 🥇 Gold
Beyond the stats… this season was about something deeper.
It was about growth, teamwork, discipline, and showing up for each other... on and off the ice.
And none of it happens without a strong community behind these athletes.
The growth we’ve seen this season has been incredible and we know this is only the beginning.

Tonight the boys are playing a fun game against some other juniors to kick off the Oilmens bonspiel at the Grande Prairie Curling Centre.
This weekend Friday to Sunday they will be in their last bonspiel of the season ~ so come cheer them on at the Sexsmith Curling Club. Their first game is Friday at 4:30pm.

This kind of encouragement and the compliments the team has received throughout the season truly mean more than you know.
They’ve meant so much to our boys and as parents it warms our hearts that you all get to see this side of them as well.
As parents, coaches, family, friends and peers we're so encouraged by these young men and the way they’re stepping into leadership with integrity and humility.
Our prayer is that they continue to lead with kindness, compassion and courage. We’re so grateful they get to grow alongside each other and their curling community full of such great youth and families.

We are playing at 4:30pm in the semi finals.
Win we play for Gold, Lose we play for Bronze at 9:30am.
