Take your game to the next level this summer with expert instruction from Laurentian Voyageurs student-athletes.

Through a partnership between the Sudbury Storm (GSBA), Laurentian University Voyageurs, and Trevella Sports, campers will develop basketball fundamentals, build confidence, compete in a fun environment, and learn from some of Greater Sudbury's top university athletes.

Ages 8–15
Co-Ed and Girls-Only sessions available
Led by Laurentian Voyageurs student-athletes
Small-group instruction (1:8 instructor-to-camper ratio)
Ball handling, shooting, passing, defence, rebounding, and basketball IQ
Daily competitions and scrimmages
Sportsmanship and teamwork development
Camp t-shirt included
OBA-insured program

Cost: $300 + HST per camper

Girls’ Night Out 2 was another amazing success! 🏀

42 girls between the ages of 9 and 15 gathered at École Jean-Paul II to celebrate their basketball season while building friendships, supporting one another, and continuing to grow the girls’ game in Greater Sudbury.

Players from Sudbury Storm, GSBA, VEMBL, and local elementary schools all came together in a fun and welcoming atmosphere focused on community, inclusion, and positivity.

What started with 30 girls last year grew to 42 this year, and we’re excited to continue building opportunities for girls in basketball.

A huge thank you to all of the coaches, volunteers, parents, and players who helped make the evening so special.

The future of girls’ basketball in Sudbury is bright! 💙🏀

Our last basketball weekend of the season is here!

Our U17 and U19 teams are heading to Ottawa to compete in the Ontario Cup and finish the season strong.
